They say the first step towards recovery is admitting you have a problem. My ski addiction is not a problem though. It’s an essential key to me living fully and happily. But I admit, I’ve got it bad. All I wanna do is ski, like, all the friggin’ time. The skiing has been phenomenal the past few days and hopefully it just keeps getting better. We’re getting another 5-7 inches of fresh snow as I type this. This winter has provided the best skiing I’ve ever experienced in my life. Every Monday at work I feel like I broken record: “This weekend was the best skiing ever!” It’s really been that good to me. There’s not much that tops that feeling of your heart soaring as you hit a nice drop on those skinny skis. It’s literally addicting. I’m going to be so sad to see it go come spring. Some people get depressed in the winter. I come alive. When spring rolls around, you might just see me melting along with the snow in a pile of gooey sadness. But I guess that old saying stands true, “If you love something, set it free.” It will be hard to see winter leave. But when it roars is head again next time ’round, I will be waiting with open arms. Until then…you can find me here:

sweet, sweet love
