Out and About

What a fabulous weekend for running! It felt so good to get out and finally do a solo long run. I spent about 3 hours in the woods, running, taking pics, bird watching and just enjoying a beautiful day on the SHT. I couldn’t have asked for a better start to a morning. There was a fresh inch of the fluffy stuff that made running extra quiet and peaceful. I started at the base of Ely’s Peak, worked my way west towards Jay Cooke SP and then headed back. I also decided to climb Ely’s Peak when I got back to the car. The weather was perfectly crisp and sunny, so I just soaked up the rays and views from the top. I feel like I recharged my inner batteries this weekend! Ready for more snow…
