I had this little piece of beautiful music by Dustin O’Halloran looped in my head on last evening’s run. It was the perfect day for a run, on my favorite stretch of trail overlooking my favorite city and my favorite lake. I kept thinking of the title of this music and telling myself to move lightly, run lightly. I didn’t want to stop running. On a side note, the woods smell absolutely wonderful this time of year. Like, overwhelmingly wonderful. Go, smell, now. After the run, I was craving a cherry slush, so I got one of those and headed to the lake to ice my legs and watch the sailboats silently racing. It was the perfect, peaceful sort of day.
