Experiments with wood type

Last summer I purchased some old wood type from a garage sale. I’m just now getting around to working with it. I don’t have a brayer, the proper ink or even a press, but I do have ways around all of that. I used a red ink stamp pad, packaging tape, cardboard and my trusty hands. I like the texture on the 38. Here’s what happened.
