Pottery

My next pottery class starts this evening at the Duluth Art Institute, The pictures above are some of my previous pieces—some make great planters! Alas, the last plant pictured, my curly plant died this fall. Probably due to my lack of watering abilities. That’s why I stick to succulents. They like desert life, thrive well on my hot radiator and don’t mind if I don’t water them regularly. Anyway, back to the subject of this post: pottery! This class will focus on sticking to one form and two glazes for the entire class. We are also only doing electric firings, as there are only 5 of us in the class—too small of a class to do a larger gas firing. I better choose my two glazes wisely!
